First attempt: Lemon Meringue Pie

I had never before made a LemonMeringuePie, so it was certainly time to give it a go.

Having found a recipe online I went ahead and started zesting my lemons en whipping up my egg whites. Feeling way to excited to use my baking beans for the first time..

Everything seemed te be fine, untill the first piece of pie was cut, the lemon filling running out, wanting to escape! Aaaaaaaah

At least it still tasted pretty good! Time to start looking for a better recipe...

 

 

Coffee&Caramel Meringues

Tonight was one of those nights where I had the urge to bake, so I did!
But what do you make when you don't feel like running to the store and buy some ingredients... That's right! Meringues!

Lovely and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with caramel sauce. Jumm

 

 

First assignment!

 

So this weekend was super exciting for me, as I had the chance to work on my first real baking assignment! Baking for a party of 80 people, the assignment was easy: bake whatever you like!

- Meringue Roses with chocolate ganache

- Raspberry eclaires

- Rocky Road
